The United Way of Naugatuck & Beacon Falls partners with local community organizations to energize the people of our community and help them better meet our local human needs. We help mobilize the organizations in our community in efforts to assist local human services better meet our local human needs. We provide funds to programs and services that address the critical health and human service needs of the greater Naugatuck and Beacon Falls area.
In pursuit of these purposes, United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls will:
Identify local human care needs and develop solutions that promote and utilize our community’s established resources
Promote and encourage volunteer development and volunteerism.
Develop financial resources that support human care services – primarily through a single community-wide campaign managed by the United Way.
Operate a community fund distribution system that is accountable and responsive to donors as well as flexible in response to our communities’ dynamic human needs.
Promote inclusivity in governance, operations, and fund distribution for all the diverse populations of the community.
Operate a year-round marketing and communications program that educates the community, especially people in the workplace.
