A Beloved Holiday Tradition Returns!

Celebrate the season at the 19th Annual Festival of Trees! This community tradition showcases festive holiday displays created by local schools, groups, businesses, and residents, all to benefit the United Way of Naugatuck & Beacon Falls.

📅 Dates: December 5–7, 2025

Tree & Holiday Item Donations

Help make the Festival magical! Donate a decorated tree, wreath, basket, or stocking to be displayed and raffled off during the event. When you donate a decorated item, you get a free ticket to the Reception + Silent Auction, and see it on display during the festival.

How It Works

School classes, community groups, individuals, businesses & organizations contribute a decorated tree, wreath, gift basket, or a holiday stocking or other display to the festival.

Designs

All trees and wreaths must be artificial. No living materials may be used, except dried flowers or other dried materials. Miniature lights are preferred. All items not attached directly to the exhibits, such as a tree skirt needs to be labeled in case of separation.

Secure Ornaments & Decorations

It is important that all ornaments be securely wired onto the tree. The exhibits will be moved and loose ornaments may fall off. During the Festival, hundreds of people come to view your designs and some cannot resist touching displays. We suggest that you use green florist wire, which is flexible and easy to use.

Additional Notes

  • A limited amount of trees/wreaths are available now through November 1st on a first come first serve basis.
  • Delivery dates: December 2–3, 2025, between 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Salem School.
  • Displays will NOT be accepted after December 3rd.

To donate or register, please contact the United Way of Naugatuck & Beacon Falls at 203.729.1564 or send us a message!
